I've now completed 3 weeks of training for the LA Marathon which is in 54 days according to their website. (8 training weeks left). Ran 16 today on my long run.
It's been tough avoiding the so called Santa Barbara STORM. (We Santa Barbarans are "special", when it rains, meetings are cancelled, and we like to complain a lot. You would complain too when it rains if your average weather is in the mid 60s with lows in the 50s and highs in the 70s pretty much all year)
Over the last 3 weeks, I have run
week 1 -26 miles- 10:20 pace
week 2 -30 miles- 11:22 pace
week 3 -39 miles- 9:48 pace
I'm having fun, but tuesday treadmill workouts are killing me :0p
