13.1 to 26.2 and other

So marathon start time is in 16 minutes- and our bus is still on the road. Some folks are getting off their buses & running to the start. Runners on my bus weren't worried at first but a mild panic is setting on with many. Not all. I figured a 6am shuttle from Santa monica to dodger stadium was pushing it but figured race organizers has a good sense of traffic etc. Oh. Passed a fender bender that included a limo
